did you use to play the game or did you just buy it? If you just bought it, where did you get it from?
If you used to play this game (using the same copy you're currently trying to redeem), then you were most likely using it on a different EA account - you will need to find and use that EA account in order to use it.
If you bought the game from a third party seller, then there's a chance that they sold you a used copy. As a code/game can only be played on one EA account and not redeemed on another after, it won't be possible for you to redeem the game again.

I try to install it using DVDs but asking for origin while origin is out of service
