Internet disconnects automatically whenever BF1, 4, even 5 are booted up.

Anyone solved this or is EA solving the problem? I find BF1, 4, and 5 unplayable. They all disconnect my wifi and I have to keep restarting my PC. I have no issues with BF6. I played these previous games on PC for years and had no issues. What is going on?

  • Hello,

I am having an issue with Battlefield 4 on PC.

The game was working fine until yesterday. I closed it normally, but today Battlefield 4 will not connect to EA services at all.

This is not a single server issue. The game itself is unable to connect to EA services, and because of that no servers are loading in the browser.

My internet connection is stable and my speed is 50 Mbps, so this does not appear to be a general internet issue.

    I have already tried:

    - Confirmed EA server status appears online

    - Confirmed my EA account is okay

    - Confirmed my Steam account is linked correctly

    - Restarted game, EA app, Steam, router, and PC

    - Signed out/in of EA app

    - Cleared EA app cache

    - Uninstalled and reinstalled EA app

    - Verified/repaired BF4 files in Steam

    - Reinstalled/updated PunkBuster

    - Checked port/NAT related fixes

    - Tried DNS changes

    - Tried inbound internet/network fixes

    - Added EA app, Steam, and Battlefield 4 to Windows Defender and firewall exclusions

    - Disabled overlays

    - Disabled cloud saves

    - Deleted Battlefield 4 files from Documents so settings could rebuild

The game was working yesterday and this started suddenly today.

Please let me know if there is any known account-side, entitlement-side, or backend issue that could stop Battlefield 4 from connecting to EA services on PC.

    Thank you.
