@DingoKillr
Okay I understand now.
I myself will just wait for more information on the next Battlefield and go from there. I say that as DICE might be trying to merge all the Battlefields into one title. I got that idea from this article.
https://www.playstationlifestyle.net/2021/04/30/battlefield-2021-new-modes/The quote:
"
It is a sandbox that DICE has always provided players with weapons and vehicles and destruction in the environment. And then these crazy ‘only-in-Battlefield’ moments happen. This emergent play comes from players. So as you can imagine, taking that strength, and taking that superpower in this franchise and building on that in the future game is definitely part of our strategy. So new modes that are going to be added to the game experience are really in service of this ability that we want to give players to have a bigger impact on their experience."
I could be dead wrong, but I take that as this upcoming game will have game modes that can alter the core experience. I don't think these are your normal everyday game modes, because why would anyone bring them up, it's 2021 haha.
The part of the quote:
"So new modes that are going to be added to the game experience are really in service of this ability that we want to give players to have a bigger impact on their experience"
I take this part as the core experience of the title will differ depending on the game mode you choose. This also plays into the rumor that the next title will just be called Battlefield. Also do remember that Battlefield 5 had the "Community/Custom Games" added.
I would just wait for more Battlefield 2021 info.
