Can I Still Play BFV After Unlinking My EA Account from Steam?
Hello everyone,
I have a question regarding unlinking my EA account from my Steam account, and I would appreciate any advice or clarification.
My Steam account was hacked in the past, and unfortunately, my EA account was also affected. As a result, my Battlefield V profile was banned from multiplayer.
Since Battlefield V is currently the only game I own on my EA account, I am considering unlinking my old EA account from Steam and creating a new EA account to link to my Steam account. I am also planning to purchase Battlefield 6, and I want to make sure my future purchases and gaming account are secure.
Before I proceed, I would like to clarify a few things:
- Can I unlink my old EA account from my Steam account and link a new EA account instead?
- If I do this, will I still be able to play Battlefield V since I purchased it on Steam?
- Will my Battlefield V multiplayer ban remain, or will it be affected by linking a new EA account?
- Could I lose access to Battlefield V entirely, even though I own the game on Steam?
- Would it be safer to keep my current EA account and secure it instead of unlinking it, especially if I plan to purchase Battlefield 6?
I want to make sure I understand the possible consequences before making any changes to my account linking.
I would really appreciate any advice from people who have experienced a similar situation or anyone who knows EA's account-linking policies.
Thank you for your help!
