Is there any way I can get my DualShock 4 to work in Battlefield V on PC? I bought it off of EA store.
Tried adding it to steam, controller is recognized on steam but not in game
makes no sense only allowing XBox controllers :(

As far as I'm aware, there is no way of using the mentioned controller without installing 3rd party software. Installing and using 3rd party software could lead to a game ban.

Hi there, sorry for the multi-month delay.
I've been scouring the forums here and across other websites to find ways to use a DualShock 4 (PlayStation 4) controller in BFV with no luck. In previous years, I and others used the DS4 program to play Battlefield titles purchased through Origin/EA App. I can play Battlefield 6, purchased through Steam, just fine with my PS4 controller, but cannot play Battlefield 1 or Battlefield V. It seems that the EA App doesn't natively recognize or support PlayStation 4 controllers (I'm not sure about PS5 controllers as I don't have one).
Are there any workarounds you are aware of, or a list of approved third-party software that would allow Battlefield titles purchased through the EA App to be played with a PS4 controller? I should not have to purchase already-purchased titles on a different storefront just so I can use a the controller I want when I could use that same controller in previous years.
