After a long time i downloaded battlefield 5 just to open it and see all my progress wiped....i hope there is a fix out there because this problem is the kind of problem that push people not to play the game and its quit a shame.

Community Manager@Philip1612M Account progress can only reset if players decide to unlink their platform accounts from the EA account.
Check the Connections page in your EA Account settings to see if you’ve logged in with the correct account.
