Brought up by Niklas Astrand (senior dev) today on the BFEE Discord.

JFEE refers to an EE that Jack Frags made for the community. UFO refers to the possible sighting of a UFO on the Propaganda map in BF4. RF refers to Red Flares for BFV. The 54 numbers are possibly an EE hint for BFV.

I racked my brain over the Jack Frags EE for ages (even bought the shirt) but my brain wasn't big enough to solve anything.

Someone mentioned on Twitter the batch of numbers could hint at the BF6 reveal teaser

Niklas brought up the number 88.235294117647058823529411764706 a few times already, and it seems to be a clue to an EE.

You can tell that the number has repeating digits and the last digit of 5 is rounded up to 6 due to the next digit of 8 (33rd digit).

    This number is 88.23529411764705^_(Period 16) = 1500/17.

He also mentioned "distance" and "time" together as possibly another hint on 2 separate occasions on the BFEE Discord.

Distance (d) / time (t) = velocity (v). If it's in m/s or greater metric units (e.g. km), it's a very fast speed that only planes in BFV can reach.

Though, the units could be in paces, as he's used them in the past for the Tricky and Dutch EEs. But again, the speed would be too fast to be on foot.

The d/t = v idea could be a dead end. Not sure yet.

If it has something to do with velocity and stuff, I guess you can't rule out tank shells and the like; not only can they travel at speeds equal to or greater than aircraft, different kinds can do different things to random objects (ie target practice, maybe sound/blast waves)

Niklas updated us with another Tweet.

    https://twitter.com/niklasastrand/status/1312347448187248641?s=21

    The Roman numerals mean this:

    IXIV.IIVIIVIIVVII%

IX IV. I I VII VI IV VII

    94.117647... = 1600/17

    Previous one was: 88.2352941176470... = 1500/17

They are "neighbors" in that sense.

The numbers appear to be a complex way of showing the progress on finishing the EE:

    https://twitter.com/NiklasAstrand/status/1312351985195274242

Then it gets a bit more unclear.

Bad Company References in BFV Compilation

There are 5 known, distinct instances of references to the Bad Company franchise in BFV.

    1. Squads #27-30 use the names of the 4 members of the Bad Company squad (squads #31-32 reference Faith and Celeste, respectively from the Mirror's Edge game).

+ 27. Haggard (George Gordon Haggard, Jr.)
    + 28. Sweetwater (Terrence Sweetwater)
    + 29. Preston (Preston Marlowe)
+ 30. Redford (Samuel Redford, aka "Sarge")

    2. Practice Range Shooting Exercises #1- a static, stylized smiley face is on the large sheet metal at the Aim Practice mini mode area.

    3.  Practice Range Shooting Exercises #2 - a smiley face appears randomly among the popup targets at the Angled Shooting mini mode area. If you shoot the head, it will explode with a yellow smoke effect and make a screeching noise.

    4. Weekly Missions - for 4 of the Weekly Missions dated below, there was a node named, "B-Team". This appears to reference the Bad Company squad, as opposed to a derogatory reference to players and their BFV squads who are not the "A-Team".

    + 14 May 2020 - 21 May 2020
    + 10 Sep 2020 - 17 Sep 2020

    + 26 Nov 2020 - 3 Dec 2020

    + 11 March 2021 - 18 March 2021

    + 27 May 2021 - 3 June 2021

    + 9 Sept 2021 - 16 Sept 2021

    5. Tricky EE- the "Tricky as Hell" EE can be found on Solomon Islands. After finding a sequence of 3 hidden buttons throughout the map when playing on the Japanese faction, you can hear the scalar weapon from Bad Company 2 make its signature noise.

    6. Bad Company 1 theme song? - you can hear what sounds like the BC1 theme song when scrolling up and down the server browser to activate "The Challenge" in Combined Arms.

For the new EE, go to any menu screen and use the space bar on PC (X / Triangle on console) and press the key in this manner: long, short, short, short, long. It's basically the dash and dots from Morse to represent TEEET. You'll then hear the BF theme song play. That means you've activated "The Challenge" which can be found in the Combined Arms section.

There are more steps involved which appear to ultimately unlock the special assignment for the Eidolon skin for the head, torso, and legs. You can see this skin now if you go to customize your character.

@SterlingARCH3Rinteresting, operation failed so far :D

Edit: Checked on youtube a clip. It's very nice done but not something to rock on in a few minutes. Also not recommended doing alone.

@Moskolonel Looks a bit like the Altier in the first Assassins Creed.

Glad one of the teams succeeded though. Hopefully people can now work out how to make things slightly easier 😆

@Moskolonel Same here - I don't even understand what's going on most of the time with this EE.

Great fun watching the community try to work it out on Discord though.
  • It's been solved! More info over at the BFEE Discord. Come check out the solution.
