"Rubber banding" or "lag" since recent update

Can we try out some troubleshooting steps to see if we can help out with this? 

A good place to start off is with the basic connection troubleshooting steps from the EA Help website. If it keeps happening after that check out the PS4-specific steps as well. Let me know if you're still running into the same problems afterward.

Hello, 

Sorry for the late reply! My hard drive failed and I couldn't play for a month anyway.

I tried all those steps and I still get the same issue. I don't believe it to be a connection issue despite the game's insistence that it is. My connection is fine, stable, around 30 ping or below every single game. It is worth noting also that I only get this issue in BFV. I do not get this in other games, even other EA games. I tried playing the game today even after having to reinstall it on my new drive and got the same issue. Rubber banding in game with a weak connection warning.

When you've got a chance can you try updating the DNS settings on your PS4 to see if that helps at all? I've seen some cases where using a different DNS can help in situations like this as well. To update your DNS settings follow the steps below: 

1. Open up the Settings on your PS4, then go to Network. From there go to Set Up Internet Connection, and select either WiFi or LAN cable depending on what you're using. 
2. Select Custom > IP Address Settings (Automatic) > DHCP Host Name (Do Not Use) > DNS Settings (Manual) 
3. Enter the Primary DNS as 8.8.8.8 and the secondary DNS as 8.8.4.4 -- This is the public Google DNS, but if there's a different public DNS you would rather use instead that's OK as well. 
4. Select Next > MTU Settings (Automatic) > Proxy Server (Do Not Use) > Test Internet Connection

Hi!

Thanks a lot for the advice, the performance improved drastically! I didn't seem to feel or experience any rubber banding during the game, and the shots felt like they were hitting when they should. However,  I still get a connection warning icon on the right side of the screen, but it has changed from dark orange to light orange.

This seems acceptable though for now, I'll update you if it goes back to how it was! Thanks!

That's working for me for about 10 minutes and then the rubber banding starts again and I have to go back and do it again.

I have a PS4. Even with the internet check ubove, I'm still rudder banding
