Stürmtiger glancing blow on APC roof canvas

What happens when the bug occurs? Firing Stürmtiger 380 mm cannon shells causes glancing blow when hitting british APC roof canvas. Also, hitbox or something seems a bit off. Shell slid strangely upon reaching apc. See video: https://youtu.be/ciXz19GZdIc
What should be happening instead? Shell should not slide on canvas, it should crash through and explode (at least explode upon impact).

  • Encountered a similar glancing blow issue today, engaged a Churchill about 5-10m away and squarely facing its front, fired off two mortar rounds hitting the turret and front armor (both tanks at same elevation) which resulted in glancing blows (1 dmg). Due to the close range situation and taking fire from the Churchill I couldn't see where the rounds glanced/slided off to, it could've just disappeared on impact.

    Does the mortar round have a minimum arming distance?

  • Hahaha thats hilarious! Those M3's are like tanks. Seems to take at least 3-4 side hits with both HE and APCR from the Valentine 6 pounder.
