Stationary weapons are unrepairable

Product: Battlefield V
Platform:Sony Playstation 4

Which part of the game is the issue happening in? Multiplayer

Summarize your bug If a stationary weapon is damaged you are not able to repair it.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Damage a stationary weapon.
What happens when the bug occurs? You are not able to repair the damage.
What should be happening instead? You should be able to repair the damage.

Currently the only way to "repair" is to destroy the weapon and then rebuild it.

    Hi in my experience you can repair if you are a support player with the engineer perk selected - Xbox one 🙂

    Same on PC, it is only the Support class being able to built and repair stationary weapons.

    Tried that, You can not repair it at all.

    In my experience the stationary weapon has to be FULLY DESTROYED before it can be repaired back to full health by a support player. You cannot repair a partially damaged stationary weapon (perhaps by design so that they're not invincible).

    Interesting observation - the bright side of it is you will get destrution XP for destroying it when you do;-)

    Which is why I made this bug report because in other Battlefield games you are able to repair a damaged stationary weapon.

    It's intentional by the developers that you have to destroy a stationary weapon in order to build a new one in Battlefield V. Same as sandbag fortifications.

    I understand sandbags but why for stationary weapons? You could repair them in BF1. It makes sense to be able to.

    stationary should be repairable, just like normal vehicle. Right now the support class can't repair a stationary weapon even when it shows a repair icon above it. No, DICE didn't intended to let us blow up a stationary then to rebuild just to repair it. Repairing should be avalaible and is now bugged. Even if you play support and you choose the repair tool the hamer change in a wrench when you are close to the stationary and that means that you suppose to repair it. Destroying is not repairing just to clearify.
