STUTTERING in Battlefield 5
Dear All,
First, after no problems for 100+ hours of play, this started this early morning, out of the blue.
The game loads awfully late: main menu and server selection, and joining works fine.
BUT when the deploy menu comes up, the game STUTTERS: 3 seconds work, 3 seconds stop, 3 seconds work again. Even nearly impossible to move the cursor. If i manage to deploy, same during the game. It is unplayable.
Let me remind you it was not like that yesterday. (or for months). No hardware change, no new updates. I played last night and woke up to this :)
- Repaired the game; Uninstalled and installed again.
- Reinstalled EA app.
- Reinstalled and repaired the Cheat add-on.
- Rolled back Nvidia driver, then updated to the latest one.
- DX 12 was already closed; checked.
- Already running as "administrator," checked.
- Vsync on/off tried.
- Checked "best performance" options in Windows and Nvidia Center.
- Game Overlay was already closed, checked.
I don't know what to do more. I like the game and was already playing. :(
