Xbox account now linked to someone else's EA account

Went to play Battlefied 5 and a message displays saying that my login credentials have expired.  A password reset has been sent to email but the email is not my account.  I tried EA help and they said that email has always been attached to my Xbox ID and they could do nothing to help me.  I can no longer play any EA games on xbox and can't unlink the account because on EA's end, they see no problem.  I saw another user on reddit with the same problem but no solution.  Anyone have this issue or know what I should do?

    It's difficult for us to understand the full picture of what's happening here on the forums as we can't really disclose personal account details in order to protect one's account. We can only advise to contact our Support team so they can help verify account ownership before they can make any changes to your account.

    EA'e support team is absolute garbage. If you're stuck on someone's account they just tell you to cry and use the code provided which is on someone else's email since you're trapped on someone else's account

    @Nothn_ButShw_Biz Same here it's one of my old friends and they just keep ignoring me because they are petty. I don't even know how I'm on here but I wouldn't be surprised at this point if it wasn't on purpose

    I have the same problem. Someone else has linked their EA account to my Xbox, preventing me from linking my own EA account to my Xbox. What I don't understand is why someone would do this? What do they stand again?
