Ai db's pick off too many passes

I understand interception are a part of football, but this game is total @$$ the dB can have their heads turned to the ball and they literally jump up every time and intercept every pass. Haven't the developers ever heard the saying dbs aren't wrs for a reason? This game didn't get the memo. Even with the sliders all the way to 0 the cpu is STILL intercepting everything.  Please fix it otherwise this game is not fun. And I want to have fun playing this game. But the cpu coverage makes this game unrealistic asf and more frustrating than enjoyable.

    @sshea900 I’ve been screaming this since release day. Only way to get around it is to play on freshman mode. If you play freshman for a while, and get sick and tired of blowing everybody out by 60-80 points and then you bump it up to varsity, you go back to throwing interceptions because the db’s make superhuman and unnatural moves to intercept passes that would never be touched in real life.

    On the flip side of that if you are playing CB in RTG the receiver catches everything even if you have them blanketed.

    This old phrase is funny, but also very true in most cases:  "If defenders could catch, they'd be playing offense."

    I agree with OP that defenders catch too many interceptions, they need to drop more.

    This is happening to me to over the last week or so. It happened a month ago as well but had settled down. I went from throwing one INT a game to now throwing 3 or more. Safeties and LB making ridiculous plays underneath. Corners make difficult plays on deep routes. I am probably going to adjust defensive reaction time and see if that changes anything.
