What happened to if it's in the game, it's in the game. This game is definitely disappointing. And the list for why this game is disappointing is long. I don't know if anyone has tried dynasty mode, but if you do and you use the custom conferences feature, that team will not follow the rules of the conference you set. I tried to recreate the big east and pulled teams from all their conferences into the american, but all those teams kept their old schedules. And i updated the conference rules to be 8 conference games. You could use the custom conferences feature in NCAA football 14 and it would work. So how is that a feature that didn't carry over? Why can you not play multiple games for CPU owned teams in a season on dynasty mode? You can only play the game for your controlled team. I'm a Penn State, so I like to use Penn State. But there are certainly other games and rivalries around the country that I enjoy playing and feeling like I'm part of it and part of the atmosphere. Sometimes I enjoy playing Georgia/Florida, Alabama/Auburn, and the Red River Rivalry. Again, a feature that was available in previous versions of the game but not available with this game.
Why can you not edit a players jersey number? Why can't you give an offensive and defensive player the same jersey number? Correct me if I'm wrong, but college football is the only sport, college or professional, in which two players on the same team can have the same number. It is one of the characteristics of college football that makes the sport truly unique. If EA was really interested in capturing the pageantry of college football, they wouldn't miss little things like that. The things that are in the game, so they should be in the game. And it really feels like they missed a lot of uniform options for this game. Especially the pants. Example, Memphis. Any reason why the tiger strips pants are not included in the game. You included 5 different tiger strip helmets, but couldn't bother to add the pants in. There are a lot of small misses with this game and lack of attention to detail with this game.
Why do we not have the ability to upgrade a stadium or create a new uniform for a team? Throughout the season in dynasty mode you could earn points or coins, and then use them in the offseason with recruiting, transfer, or an ability to upgrade a stadium and give yourself a better homefield advantage. It would be a lot of fun to take one of the smaller schools or schools that just joined D! from D!AA and have an ability to increase their average attendance for games from 30,000 to 100,000 like a big ten school. And upgrades that you would actually see in game. Or as a coach if you start with a smaller school and then take a job at a bigger school, why not have the ability to create a new uniform for the team that you could use to make that team truly yours. These are little things that the developers and team at EA could do and don't. And I have been a fan of NCAA football since 2003 when Joey Harrington was on the cover as the Oregon Ducks QB. I can remember that these have been discussion points in these types of forums for what is now going on decades...and never gets addressed. But we are suppose to be happy that they brought in stadium pulse...a feature they had in the 2008 game and lost from 2009-2014. if I knew the game was going to be like this, to be honest I wouldn't have bought it. I would have continued just playing my copy of NCAA Football 2014
