College Football 25 - Title Update August 8th, 2024

I have read other places that something happens when choosing another team's playbook or custom playbook at the ready screen.  Is this in "play now" or dynasty or both?  I mean I ain't even fussing about editing players' numbers, I won't even try to do custom conferences (scary), etc.  I have had no trouble choosing playbooks at the ready screen before.  I have not played the game in two days due to storm Debby.  I couldn't wait to get back to the game after the update.  Now, not so sure I want to play it.

The 4-2-5 is still not working for Custom Playbooks. The option is there but the formation does NOT show up

I had the same problem adding wishbone formation to my custom playbook.    Work around:   pick a defense playbook that already has the 425 when you go to create your custom.   All the other formations that you want not already added in the 425 playbook should be able to add.

Please just fix offline dynasty, its even more broken than before the update.  There is no reason a game over 10 years old is better than a game you had 2 full years to make and perfect.  If recruiting was better i guarantee more people would be playing CFR than this.

End of season rewards are useless.  When a player wins multiple individual awards but doesnt even make the all-american team, something is wrong.

Not being able to individually sim games during the week is mind boggling.  No game previews.  Not being able to view player stats on any other screen than view roster is just wow (why can't i just open a player card in Heisman Watch and view a players stats instead of jumping through 1000 steps just to see his stats).

Transfer portal is nice, recruiting is deep but not being able to edit player ratings is something that should be in the game, can't edit numbers and names, fine.  I get that, even non NIL players you could theoretically put a player in the game 5 years down the line in your season but player ratings should be able to be adjusted for computer generated recruits.

There is just so much this game could be and I want to love it, i want to play 30 years of dynasty and then do it again for 30 years.  Yeah its back, thats awesome, but the honeymoon phase has passed.  I'll be going back to College Football Revamped until all these issues are fixed, hopefully I'll be able to come back and enjoy the game I fell in love with all those years ago.

what is this "update"...scum kick not addressed....practice disappearing in dynasty not addressed....

and now the SCOREBOARD at the bottom of the screen VANISHES until you snap the ball!

what a joke, how do you mess up this badly

This new update fixed certain problems but has created brand new and in my opinion more annoying problems. Now in dynasty after the transfer portal closes and it’s time for position changes all new incoming players whether it’s freshman or transfers don’t show up. Only players on the roster from the season prior appear in position changes now. So I can no longer choose the position to put my incoming athletes at or change the position for any player that I just recruited. It’s incredibly frustrating because position changes is my favorite part of recruiting and it has been completely ruined. There’s no point in recruiting athletes now because the game decides what position they are gonna be for you since you no longer have control to change the position for new players. Also for my ODU dynasty it has proximity to home for all Virginia prospects as a B- now as opposed to an A+ even tho ODU is in Virginia. It lists proximity to home for Mississippi prospects as an A+ instead. I really hope this gets fixed immediately and we don’t have to wait another month or longer for these issues that were created by the new update to be fixed.
