Colorado Tier 2?

Question

So the game updated tiers tonight and the Colorado Buffaloes are now Tier 2?&nbsp; A team that lost 8 of its last 9 games last year in a conference that almost ceased to exist?&nbsp; And PSU--a team that would've made 4 of the last 12 CFPs under the new rules--is bumped down to Tier 3, while a consensus top 10 team in every poll?&nbsp; Its bad enough that the defense AI for this game is beyond exceptionally terrible, but who is the genius creating the tiers system?&nbsp; Its your deranged world EA, we are just living in it.

Amen, brother.&nbsp; I mean, I'm as big a Deion fan as you're ever going to meet, but placing Colorado in a tier higher than teams lke OU and PSU is just ridiculous

Clearly, Mister Vanillakream has not played the Road to CFP mode since the newest patch. If he had, he would realize that there are now five tiers, and not the three that he seems to think are still in effect.

It's good to research things like this a little, or at least, before making what might seem to some people a comment made by someone uninformed.

@Boo95q To be fair, he might be referring to the 1 to 5 star program rating in rtg, which Colorado has no right being as high as they are there, either.

Regardless, I should have known when Colorado's ratings dropped that this game would be hot garbage. Silly me.

@Boo95q OU also being rated tier 3 is insane. Texas is tier 2 (not tier 1), Colorado is probably tier 4 but no better than tier 3 (definitively not tier 2), PSU, OU and probably USC are all tier 2 (not tier 3--OU could even be tier 1), and Miami is tier 3 (not tier 2). What's worse than getting the tiers wrong is the ratings are clearly also reflected into the hard coded skill level of each one of these teams. If I had to guess, this person went to an ACC school because there is no way you have so many of their schools rated so high without some kind of conference bias..
