CUT SOTS Challenge

For the Seth Mclaughlin SOTS challenge it appears to be broken? Or at least poorly explained. The bonus star says to “pass a pass.” I have no idea what that means besides maybe a flea flicker or lateral? It also is an entire game and wants you to win it which is fine, but seems excessive whilst we are guessing whatever the challenge means. Any clarification?
