EXTREMELY PO’D W/ EA

how come i spend hundreds of dollars on college football ultimate team and as soon as i link my ea account to my psn account, i lost all players, currency and progress. i then message ea help and i get some bs along the lines of upon investigation there is nothing i can assist you with. so i just lose all money and progress and i pretty much get an “oh well”… wtf is that?

    Hey bodybagg_223_,

Sorry to hear you've lost that progress you put so much time into. Typically when this type of thing happens, it's related to unlinking a platform (PSN) from its original EA account and linking it to a different one.

When you unlink a platform account from your EA Account, you can link it to another EA Account, but your in-game progress won’t transfer over.

That means you’ll permanently lose access to:

    • games and game progress
    • DLC, expansions, and anything extra you have for your game
    • memberships and subscriptions
    • in-game purchases.

If you unlink your platform account and link it back to your original EA Account, you may be able to get your stuff back if you still can access the account.

In this case that would mean you've linked your PSN to a newer EA account rather than the original, so that progress was left behind.

You would need to re-link your PSN back to its original EA account rather than the one it's currently on to try restoring any missing progress. If you run into any trouble getting that re-linked to the original EA account, you can resume a case here or create a new case so another advisor can take a look.

It looks like you linked your PSN to a new account (this one) rather than the original account you recovered with support recently. You'll need to try re-linking there instead if you have any missing content.

but why would the content be on that account if i never used it for cfb 25 and only recovered it so i could link the new ea account to my psn. i’m so confused. i wish i could talk to someone on the phone and maybe it would clear up some misunderstandings on both ends

If you were playing already and had progress, that means your PSN must have been linked to an EA account. You wouldn't be able to play with an unlinked account.

For the newer EA account you're posting with now, the PSN was just linked for the first time, which means it wouldn't be the one you used in the past. Did you play on a different platform at all, or has it just been the same PSN account?
