There seems to be a persuasive attitude of entitlement on the board. While I understand there are certain aspects of the game that are flawed or not to YOUR expectations, the approach of demanding, whining, and utter sh!t attitude is not going to change those things.While you are certainly entitled to provide feedback, provide it in a way that might make someone want to read it instead of just the vitriol that is currently being posted.Additionally, just about every software company struggles with producing products without bugs in their software. The feeling that EA didn't do their due diligence before release is almost laughable considering we have all accepted this from every other tech company (Apple, Microsoft, etc) yet you rant that EA just cares about the money and didn't test, blah, blah, blah. Now if you are holding every other tech company to that accountability then sure you are within your right. If not well you figure it out But agreed that EA and all the other Tech companies should QA test better.

I'm sorry but your just wrong. All game companies are NOT the same. All game companies are NOT driven and managed by people with the same motives or talents. Some actually take pride in the products they put out and love gaming as much as we do, a few only care and are only focused on one thing, PROFIT.Secondly you are also wrong about our right to complain, point out the MANY flaws, bugs, missing features that we paid for and expect. Most of us are here posting not to be mean, rude or just to troll. What I see is a community of people who absolutely love college football an expect a game that reflects that passion. Frankly what they have so far falls WELL below what they expect and paid for. So guys and gals keep it up, don't stop until EA finally listens or they will lose us and their precious PROFIT for good.Gets off soap box.

@tm219 The problem isn't that the game has problems and bugs. The problem is that the game has so many problems and bugs, some of which have a big impact on enjoyment of the game. The bigger problem is that EA refuses to even acknowledge some of them or give a timetable for a fix. Instead they are just like "here are some audio fixes and some new uniforms and a stadium update." And even that is prefaced by some vague, coy comment by one of their twitter representatives that is more annoying than anything else. And I'm not saying that we shouldn't get uniform/stadium updates. I'm saying that they should say what is in the update and when it is coming and stop trying to be cute about it. And they should acknowledge the issues that people are talking about and let the community know what's going on, what is being worked on, and a timetable.And when it comes to other games/devs I'm plenty critical of them when it is warranted as well. I've been very vocal after the way WWE 2k released this year. An official responded to all of my threads about bugs and issues though and all but one of them has been solved and the one that hasn't they have come out and said they are working on it. NBA 2k also has its problems that I've gone after in the past, although it's been a few years since I've played that game because of some of them.And the one thing 2k does right that EA doesn't though is offer a complete and customizable MyLeague experience (franchise/dynasty in your EA game of choice). I realize some of that is limited due to the CFB and NIL stuff, but EA has neglected Franchise mode in Madden for years now as well. This is a pattern with EA. I watched EA ruin the Battlefield franchise, I watched them take Madden significantly downhill (I won't say ruin in that case because that game still at least has good on field gameplay and barebones franchise functionality), and now they flubbed CFB at least to this point. I predict some of the missing features in this year's game (or hell maybe even some of the bugs that cause features to just not work in CFB 25) will be in CFB 26 or 27 and they'll hype it up as a big deal. They've done the same thing in Madden in the past and it's a scummy sales strategy.EA needs people to call them out and say "hey this is not acceptable" or else they will continue to produce trash or take products downhill. We're already up against a wall with this because even if a significant number of people withhold sales or get a refund for their game, those losses can be offset by a small number of whales who spend thousands of dollars every year on Ultimate Team.I agree that people should swear or abuse community leaders or whatever they are called on here especially seeing as those people aren't involved in development of the game, they are just paid to moderate these forums. However I think it's fully acceptable to call out the flaws in this game and demand answers especially when actual devs and social media representatives from EA refuse to comment on some of them.

So all of that, just to end with "EA does need to do better"? Aight homie.

I think what’s frustrating is some of these bugs are apparent from the moment you turn on the game. They’re not “15 years into my Dynasty, Tulane is a powerhouse” like ok, that’s a weird quirk but not a game breaker.
The latest patch broke the scoreboard in Dynasty mdoe. Its an easily replicated bug that shows up as soon as you run a single play.
Its impossible for them to have missed it. But they released the patch anyway. It is a bit insulting, especially after spending 70 to 100 dollars on the game.
Also, the game is missing core features from previous versions of the game (and exist in Madden, which uses the same engine). A modern football game with no mass subs, no formation subs? The game is unfinished.

This. It is just demoralizing to drop $70-100 on a game and to find out after only a couple days that the game is MONTHS away from being dialed in right. And then the patch they spend three weeks on produces nearly as many new issues as it solved.
The scoreboard issue is mind blowing! Do/did they not test this patch before release?? As AiredMania said, that bug presents itself literally on the first play of a game, and I'd venture a guess it's a fairly easy fix, but they just ignored it and sent out the patch.
A game company that cleared $5.8 BILLION over the last 12 months should have the resources available to produce a game that doesn't require months worth of updates, patches, and bug fixes to be considered a complete game.

@tm219Nice attempt to gaslight or troll the community. Defend EA for first 6 sentences, then say "QA should have done better!". This is one of those "what was I thinking" post. The game is full of bugs, game lacks features, which nobody would have complained if they delayed the game. Sorry, but game is horrible amalgamation of all things that have been wrong with EA in the past. Do better? Yeah, start over from scratch, something EA doesn't seem to do well.
EDIT: Oh yes, main point - if you paid for something and its not up to the par or expectations - those people actually have a right to complain. Entitlement, that's not entitlement - that's failing to meet expectations. Unfortunately in the videogame world, it seems to happen a lot these days.

They released a broken game and going through phases of patches usually makes these games worse.
They should release a game without game breaking and game ending issues.]

This game has promised features locked behind a paywall, you can only use them in online dynasty, and you have to pay for that. Starting to see where the money came from to stop a PC release. Not to mention features that have been in game since the NES days that arent here. Why cant I turn off the play clock in offline dynasty?

Nah man, 11 years to work on this. This feels like a one year production that was rushed and not fully thought out and beta tested before launch. Look at the latest update, completely ruined parts of the game while negatively affecting almost every aspect of the game. EA needs to be better, no excuses.
