Kronos Set offers no boosts

With the Gods of the Gridiron promo- we were told that you couldn’t have more than one god card in the lineup without significant stat penalties. Only the Kronos card would unlock the ability to have the full lineup. The other side of that was that the Divine Discourse chemistry would offer +15 stat boost if 5 components  were there and you completed the set.
My issue is simple. The god cards did not get a +15 stat boost- it only looks like the Kronos card negated the penalty of using the gods simultaneously. This is either a gross miscommunication of false advertising, because Tier 5 shows a +15 boost- not a +0 boost. Tiers 1-4 show a -5 which is understandable, but we bought packs and spent coins thinking the god cards would be exponentially better than they are. The best thing about them are 0 AP abilities- but they are unusable without the +15 boosts.
They were given significant stat drops in key areas- for instance- the Hades card has 80 speed- one would think that after the boost he’d be 95 speed. You see in the pic that it says +15 in tier 5 to STR, AGI, SPD, etc. that didn’t happen. You see in the other pic that the Divine Discourse chemistry is completed and there is a +0 boosts. Please fix these cards immediately

  • I agree that it is b/s but the chemistry bonuses (or lack there of) were always shown. Why EA decides to make God cards unusable is more the issue. Reeks of the original plan being different than the final product. Perhaps they did have them at +15 at one time but scraped that plan for whatever reason

So you have to look at the other 3 tiers that also get activated. Each of those tiers is -5. So all getting to max tier does is reset your stats back to “normal”

And this is precisely the point I’m making. When Hades is an 80 overall speed to start- many of us thought that once he was “unlocked” and fully upgraded that he would go to 95 base with the +15. Same with the BTK rating on Hermes, etc. There should have been clear communication if upgrading their base stats was never the plan. I’m aware of the other tiers- but what that final tier didn’t explain was that the it was contingent upon the previous tiers.

  • I understand the frustration but that has always been there. The tiers were always there. People just choose to ignore the -5 part for some reason

we didn’t ignore it. It was unclear to what the boost pertained to. It doesn’t explicitly state that the boosts only negate the penalties. It states that when you unlock Kronos the full potential is there- and when you see the deficiencies in each card- it’s easy to see why we wanted the set. If I know Hades would be 80 speed AFTER the set- there’s no way I would have done this set. 95 speed is standard- not 80.

Also, have you even done the set? Were you impacted by it? How long have you been working for EA? lol

Nah not going to do the set because it is way too expensive and the game is pretty much over. Also, each tier is activated for chemistry once you reach the highest tier. You don’t just get the highest tier. If you run a TT you don’t just get the +1 speed but all the other boosts that come from the other tiers.  Why would this set be any different?
