Let’s talk about where Ea missed on College Football 25

Let’s be honest EA misses every year on things we would love to see improved for me there’s a BUNCH like the blocking is completely horrible when having your line engage in pass block your LT/RT just continue to back up allowing defenders to just run around them, or let sweeps when your rb is your lead blocker unless you ID the corner everyone will just run pass them leading to a huge loss and just on regular run plays you can ID a player and your line will still run passed them or double team another and allow a defender to come in untouched even if you have more blockers than defenders it’s a constant miss and problem even in kick returners blockers will straight chest bump a guy and on to the next never engaging in a block and then we have onside kicks/fumble recoveries why are they so bad we can have 5 players jump on it and still some lineman that comes out of no where recovers it and now let’s go about the rewards system like today I grind on CUT like every season and hit level 57 where I’m supposed to get a Legendary Bonus Season 4 BND pack which cause all the other packs this season was ceap I expected these to be good just to end up with 3 Season 2 players that couldn’t even make the roster which bothers me because once again EA shows to favor the people who will blow a extra $100 a month or week over the loyalest who still buy and try to play their game it’s ridiculous just like this post won’t even let me upload all the videos I have to support this post

  • Here's a laundry list of the stuff that bothers me just with what they've developed. I'm not even thinking about all the stuff that could be added, like gameplanning, roster relationships, trophy rooms etc.

    Gameplay
    ⚽ DEs 3spd slower than me chasing me down to the edge when I was outside at full speed while they were engaged.
    🏈 Offensive lineman and fullbacks running past every player they should block (not failing to decide between two, running past the only potential player they should block)
    🏀 Holding whenever I have a nice run or pass, I never use sprint until I'm past the line of scrimmage either. 
    (4) Block on the back whenever I have a nice run.   Honestly block in the back is broken in this game.  I see as many block in the backs per game as I see in an entire season in real life. 
    (5) DBs being absolute idiots whenever I'm in the lead...they are 100% going to blow coverage while the QB suddenly figured out how to read the field.
    👿 How the game is only difficult when you're in the lead.
    (7) How I drop everything with contact despite having expert coaching bonuses maxed to increase catch on contact
    (8) How CPU drops nothing deposit having expert coaching bonuses maxed to force more breakups.
    (9) The fact the CPU sheds blocks and rubber bands to my runner as soon as I'm a step past them.
    (10) KRs are a complete joke, might as well not exist
    (11) PRs are a complete joke, might as well not exist
    (12) The only time the game feels like football are playing against humans.
    (13) Screen passes you can't even get a throw off. Make the play get busted up by coverage not BS instantaneous pressure.
    (14) Deep balls WR/DB logic is stupid. No fighting for positioning. You can tell on 98% of your throws if its a TD or incomplete/INT at release.

    (15) I want to see dev trait on player summary card so I don't have to drill into every player

    (16) Scheduling is still completely broken. We have not changed any conferences in year 2033 and 2034 LSU has 5 conference games and winning conference over teams playing full suite.

    (17) Team OVR ratings completely broken, they mean nothing. Depth charts with a team that's roughly 90 showing up as 84 and a team that's roughly 80 showing up as 84...they are completely useless for gauging opponent strength.

    (18) Sim logic, nobody tries to run...ever.  ratios are always like 1 run to every 4 or 5 passes???

    (19) Sim logic, too many upsets. Don't mind upsets but there are too many.

    (20) Awards do not show or provide a way to see players stats for the season.

    (21) Players track they've won an award, and even have a place for awards in their profile, but the rewards aren't listed there.

    (22) Doesn't seem to be any stadium pulse impacts for neutral site games/CFP.  While I kind of get these stage should almost treat both teams somewhat like a challenging away game. 

    (23) Ranking logic is bizarre/wild at times.  I think the use of blue chip logic impacting championship contender makes sense as a sort of modifier for how quickly a team moves up or down but strength of wins/losses doesn't seem to be applied correctly.  Lots of wimpy teams rolling up and staying up with no meaningful wins and not taking a big enough drop for a weak loss.  Even if that isn't considered in CFP rankings it's considered in the heads of those teams ranking teams.

    (24) Interface in Dynasty isn't engaging

    (25) Records is the ONLY screen with every team that doesn't default to your current team.  When you go from game to season to career you have to sort to your team every time.  That should retain the currently selected team when you move.

    I will say I like the younger or less aware/talented players making mistakes it just feels a little too Overrated.  Instead of a bad block it's a completely ignored block. Bad angles don't result in missed arm tackles the player just stops running.  Defenders in coverage don't get beat on deep routes they simply don't participate.  It's maddening to see.
