Why does the defensive line move up and down or side to side while waiting for the other team to kick a field goal?

Do you mean when the D Line appear to be having convulsion and when the “down linemen” glitch out and stand up??
The “glitching” linemen aren’t just appearing on FG and extra points. They often glitch out when you call a D line shift as well.
It’s some sort of graphics glitch.
TBH It’s kind of embarrassing to the franchise and embarrassing for long time fans of the NCAA series seeing the game so unpolished

I kind of assumed they meant that all 11 players move in unison with the same animation prior to the snap. That’s what’s happening on mine.
