100% It feels like the game is so close to being good, but the litany of tech problems and lack of communication are what sets it back so much.
- 12 months ago@BlueIsTheColor70 Yeah, the best we got is cryptic messages from devs on Twitter. I know of local dive bars that communicate with their customers better than that.
- 12 months ago@SgtSlugbug Makes you wonder if the community managers even know what the dev team is doing until they have to post on here lol. How ironic would that be
- 12 months ago@SgtSlugbug Exactly, like what's the point of the creative director releasing cryptic statements, just tell the player base what is going on. They are treating this update like an album release or something, please just give us clear communication, the player base will respect it way more than these cryptic statements.
the tweet I and this guy are talking about (I assume): https://x.com/ScottOGallagher/status/1821216768632729914 - m0ps66bc3gzm12 months agoNew Scout
For the sake of the FCS South Pandas, I hope they leave it just like it is. Dream season!
- 12 months ago@m0ps66bc3gzm 😂😂 the FCS East Astronaunts winning it all this year
- 12 months ago@HugeWheelzFan I don't know what I expected, but that wasn't it.

How hard would it be to give a list of things they are aware of and working on, and just a ballpark of when we might see another update (a week? a month? EACF 2027?)
They obviously tried to make it a "pretty" game, and didn't put enough effort into functionality. The stadiums are great. Some of the music and chants are great - though so many are oddly wrong, considering schools sent in their materials. Speaking of pretty, I'm all for not objectifying women (or men for that matter) in video games, but the cheerleaders look like Fallout ghouls. Fans are pretty creepy, too. I get that wasn't where their priorities were, nor was it simulation, nor depth of dynasty features, nor CPU AI, nor...dang I forgot my point.
- Sgoforth512 months agoSeasoned Ace@m0ps66bc3gzm I’m frustrated with the lack of communication but I understand why they will not do what you are asking. They paint themselves into a corner by saying they are working on fixing specific things or giving a date. If they can’t fix those things or don’t have it done by the date, people will only be more upset. Rumors are that a new patch will be out tomorrow. Hopefully it’ll fix the issues we are all upset about (and not just a roster or jersey update).

Also they are a business and you don't get that big without doing things that are good for your business but bad for consumers, unfortunately. Telling consumers what they definitely won't be fixing is a real easy way to trigger mass refunds or worse them denying refunds in droves which is also not consumer friendly.
So for everyone hoping to see something about player editing, don't hold your breath. Chances of them openly stating that the one thing that a simple majority of dynasty players want likely won't get addressed is slim to none.
