@EA_BarryI am experiencing this problem writ large without any way to control, mitigate, or avoid the kickoff exploit in online play. I am opting not to indulge in the exploit myself, but I'm not sure EA is giving players any other choice. The mechanics of the kickoff in online play are such that players using the kicking team can consistently position the ball where none of the receiving team players can retrieve the ball in a fair, sporting context. The result is frequently either an atrocious starting field position, the other team recovers the ball themselves and regains possession, or the receiving team player picks the ball up with backwards momentum and the play is deemed a safety - giving the kicking team 2 points and also forcing the original receiving team to now give up the ball.
Can something be done about this? This is a pervasive issue that, in my several games played, is an issue being exploited by SEVERAL players - not just one. I fear this is no longer a matter of reporting a user, rather, looking to EA to modify either the available kicking mechanics of the kicking team, or the automatic responsiveness of the receiving team.
