Recruiting

Love the game. Recruiting update sucks. Makes recruiting too hard. Not enjoyable at all to constantly win at a major program, be in the pipeline etc. and constantly get beat out vs the cpu.

only 4 visits a game sucks

allow coaches to make promises

develop cut scenes within Dynasty. See recruits before the big game in coaches office for example

listen to your consumers

  • Personally, I've not had any issues recruiting top classes. Make sure to watch some tips and tricks on YouTube to help get the best available players.

Not sure that recruiting is “too hard”. You need to adjust your technique possibly. Wild guesses on “hard sell” will now be penalized. Visits now matter more so prioritization is key. Reality is chasing 25+ recruits is not going to work well from the jump.

who cares about the cut scene when other issues are more important to work on

I do agree that 4 recruits visits per game is too few.  We should also be able to bring recruits in during the week of the game instead having to wait until the next home game.

Yet the CPU routinely recruit 30+ players a year. Now I agree recruiting is not that hard IF you pour all your exp points into the recruiting skill tree.

As far as wanting 'bling' such as a coach's office, trophy room, coach\school history record etc.  I see NOTHING wrong with wanting and asking for such things as those things add long term enjoyment to a game that is sorly lacking in ANY.

@sdzald - if you focus on 20-25 at first you are more likely to land them and then if you really want you can move on to others to get to 30 plus like the CPU AND you do not need to put all your exp points into the skill tree if you look at some of the techniques put out there but if that is what you believe I am not likely to change your mind.

Also, you do not need 30+ a year since you most likely will need to cut a bunch anyway if you recruit anywhere past 25.  Additionally, if you look at "who" the CPU recruits even top tier programs are signing some 3 stars which maybe there is a gem or 2 but they are most likely cutting in a year.

if the game isn't bringing you enjoyment why are you bothering to play it? plus you seem to not understand my point on the cut scene

I normally don't go over 16 players to start a season, I only pick the best players I need the most, then I fill in later for positions holes with lower tier players.  Even so it can be a pain breaking into the top 5 when so many teams routinely go over 30. Then I look at who they have recruited and most of them recruit 2 and 3 5 and 4 star players at the same positions.  The only reason the script does this is to pad their own numbers.

Props to you if you have figured out all the tricks to outsmart the script, but maybe you don't understand what I'm and others are getting at, that the recruiting system, and YES bling, need some serious upgrades.
