Just went into my first online H2H game in the Road to CFP. Noticed you can’t change your playbook, so I went ahead and picked Texas because that’s what I was most comfortable with. Then noticed when I got into the game, half the formations are gone. What’s up with that?

Part of not being able to change playbooks allows Georgia,Ohio State and Alabama to stay head and shoulders above the rest of the teams in the game.
What's sad is that since release I've tried my hardest to win a National Championship in Road to CFP with my favorite team only to be dominated by the 3 team mentioned above. Over 600 Road to CFP games played, not even a shot at a Natty.
After my sadness of yet another lose to the 3 team above I switched for one game to Georgia and it was night and day. I played my exact same style but with Georgia I dominated top teams vs feeling completely overwhelmed.
Long post but the point is having the ability to change playbooks would actually give some lesser teams a chance.

What about players that are greyed out and their player models being generic when you put them into the game? That’s my biggest complaint
Hello! I’ve been a fan of team specific playbooks all year long and I support the decision. Think about it if Ga,Ohio St and Bama is currently way better than avg teams, why would you want to equip them with even more plays? Yes you’re getting new plays but so are they. I understand that everyone doesn’t play the game to the magnitude that I do. But I’m on heisman and all you get all day is Bama spam with double Mug and chew clock. The bigger problem IMO is why does EA sports have bama tuned to be a tier 1 team? Why are they better than Boise State or Penn State? You would think it’s 2017!! They listened to the community and fixed Judkins and got it right. But why not Milroe?

yeah every game i have to pause and change my depth chart. also yeah not being able to use a playbook im familiar with is terrible. i dont get it. they probably wont put the effort in to this year ☹️.
to me its more about if i use a different team i have no idea what plays are there and where they are. same with audibles. so i get delays and burn time outs when if i was able to use the same playbook the game would be much more fun.
its been since august and still nothing? its terribly annoying to have to learn a new playbook just because we use a different team. delays and time outs everywhere because i have no idea what plays or where the plays are. oh and audibles.
I feel this! What’s crazy is it wasn’t always like this. I run with UT Texas and spent hours and days perfecting there playbook only to log in one day and realize I had a completely different playbook in fact it was probably the exact opposite of the playbook I had. This ish right here is what made me quit playing CFB this past season
Nah forget that “LET ME PICK THE PLAYBOOK I WANT” don’t default me to Air Forces playbook and I’m playing with Ohio State. That ain’t cool
