Wear, Tear, and Injuries

The addition of wear and tear is great! I love this feature and it makes having depth important, for a play or two. I have yet to see many severe injuries while playing. Guys will get banged up and miss a series or two, but I have played multiple seasons through different dynasties and have only season 1 extended injury lasting multiple weeks. I want depth to matter. When I turn the injury slide up it only increases the frequency of injuries, but not the severity or duration. I hate playing teams late in the season that at 100% healthy.

  • For me, none of my team is healthy late season, especially if i play in a conference with lots of teams that run hurry up. My whole team is barely able to function. I have one where my starting RB is out 7 weeks, his backup is in and out because of wear and tear and I'm down to my third string who is also in and out for wear and tear. In another, I lost two players for the year in the first two games and my Heisman contending RB is falling off the Heisman pace because Wear and Tear keeps him out half of every game. I am in many dynasties and in every single one of them, my RB isn't at 100% after about 5 plays into the start of a season until the year finishes.

So weird. I am halfway through my 2nd season in dynasty and have seen very little wear and tear.
