White Helmets Aren’t White

Every single white helmet in game is off white. I’m sure this is due to the lighting system, as it’s increasingly obvious during night/overcast games. But the helmets are absolutely not white. They do not match the real life helmets shade. They don’t match the white uniforms shade. It’s a small thing, yes. But it’s ugly and bothersome. Ruins the whiteout look. There are a handful of teams IRL that have off white helmets, surprisingly Penn State’s look like a different shade of their uniforms if you look at shots of them. But this does not apply to overwhelming majority of teams. Auburn, Stanford, SMU, Texas, etc etc. Take your pick. 

While on the topic of helmets. I don’t understand how 11 years apart, EA still managed to make Notre Dame’s helmets look dark brown during night games. Have y’all never seen a ND night game? Shiny, and gold.
