Why no Long hair outside of helmets in RTG?

Loving the game so far, but one thing that bugs me is why in RTG do dreads or any long hairstyles not go outside of our player's helmet. RTG is the only create a player in the game so we should at least be able to have our players look the way we want them to look right? It would be appreciated if y'all fixed this minor detail
