First issue, conference re-alignment + going back to divisions for a conference like the ACC causes 3 or 4 conference championships to be played. I was a #1 ranked ACC champ and did not get a first round bye in the playoff, which would never happen in the 12-team era.Second issue, in year 4 of this dynasty Vanderbilt somehow managed to go 7-1 in the SEC, win the conference championship game, yet they did not make the playoff.Would like to be able to make changes to conferences and not have it cause major issues 5 years down the road.

Amen to this.Conference realignment also breaks the scheduler. Like you just swap Maryland out for Notre Dame in the Big Ten, and all of a sudden Michigan doesn't play Ohio State, USC doesn't play UCLA, Minnesota doesn't play Wisconsin, etc etc. I could kind of understand the excuse about scheduling being a very technically complex task a decade ago, but come on. A decade and two console generations later this shouldn't be an issue. There are so many sophisticated schedulers. Honestly, just add rules to the existing scheduling logic so the game doesn't generate the ridiculous schedules we have. Its such a shame, because custom conferences is one of those features that really grabbed my interest in these games in the first place, and for it to be so poorly executed is really disappointing, on top of everything else.

@Sgoforth5 yeah I’ve seen some crazy stuff so far, but seeing Vandy win their first conference championship in like 80 years but miss out on the playoff to UGA and UK teams they beat was nuts. Also half of the 20 team ACC I created only played 11 game schedules, 9 games in conf. Other half (my division), played 12 games and 10 conf games. I went back to divisions because there’s no way to establish who you play in conference without it and I wanted to play all the Florida teams (FSU, Miami, UCF, scheduled UF out of conf) as USF every year. It would be nice to be able to schedule 4-6 permanent rivals in conference and rotate the other 2-4 teams. Dream scenario is being able to create new conferences so I can go back to 90s era regional alignment, but I highly doubt we’ll ever get that so rest in peace to the Southwest and the Big East.

@EA_Kent @EA_KentHi Kent, I included this scenario in my "Dynasty Details" post as well but I will reiterate what is happening here as well. Unfortunately this is offline dynasty as well.Issue 1: Teams can get lost forever in custom conference phase..... they disappear never to return again.... you can tell which ones because when you go to custom schedules they will show up with generic EA logos just like the FBS schools... this appears to happen when you add divisions to a conference and then remove teams from a conference without first removing the divisions.Issue 2: The second possible issue is that, conference rules allow you to play up to 12 conference games but when you get into custom schedules, the max you can play is 9.... this breaks cpu scheduling and many users are left unable to edit schedules.... which could lead to all the other bugs mentioned by the OP.Issue 3: custom conference UI cannot handle it when you delete a conference.... the headers get all messed up and you lose the ability to edit the conference all the way to the right.... usually sunbelt.... so then they are forever un-editable.Issue 4: Once you remove a conference by moving all of it's teams they are forever gone... you cannot add a conference back in. This is gamebreaking because once a conference is gone, there header position gets removed on the "lb/rb" conference swapping menu, but the game still treats it like they should be there.... essentially the conference to the right of whichever one you removed will take over that spot in that header section, which means the conference all the way to the right (sunbelt) gets perminantly removed from that header section, meaning you cannot edit them.

In my dynasty, Syracuse beat Clemson to win the ACC championship and didn’t make the playoffs. Conference winners are guaranteed to make the playoff. I’ve made the first round bye as a group of 5 team. I just added UMass to the MAC and got 5 straight conference home games.

Similar problem, I was playing Illinois and ended up winning the B1G title vs. Nebraska - final record 9-4 (woof lost all non-con games). Was originally the 4 seed in the playoffs as B1G winner - then simmed a bye week and it put me in the LA bowl vs New Mexico (obviously taking me out of the playoffs). Did i need to accept the playoff spot somewhere?

I experienced if you take all teams away from independent conference, it will totally delete the Sunbelt conference and those teams will no longer be able to play in the dynasty!
Also it made me play the MAC championship on same week as a conference game! It made me play the championship 2 and then made me play the regular season conference game at the end of my schedule that was same week as army Navy game!

@VOLSROCK1429 This happened to me too. It seems every co fennec championship game has a duplicate which has more effect on the CFP 25 bracket than the actual legitimate conference championships do lol. I'm #1 ranked and I'm playing a 3-8 team with no bye first round in bracket. ☹️
