I have had the same experience. Took Vanderbilt from a 2.5 star team prestige to 4.5 star over a period of years and Athletic Facilities maintains at B-.
I wouldn’t expect the rating to change swiftly and drastically, but, perhaps after 2 years a B, after 3 if maintaining at 4/4.5 stars maybe a B+, and then A after 4 or 5 years. Maybe at 7 years of 4.5 star or 5 team prestige for an A+.
Otherwise, an option to manually change would be nice.
