Are we really going to have to wait till the end of August to be able to play offline dynasty effectively? Thats wild.
@EA_Failroader @NatureBoy2323 are we going to be seeing in the next update a change in non-NIL-player editing such as changing quarterback numbers from 32 to a regular 0-19, or at least have the choice to make it 67, 91, etc?? Also such as player faces? Many have asked about this and have got no response so we are begging for answers because it, too, is a key issue with the game.

So…from what I’m understanding, the people that work for this forum don’t actually talk to anyone at EA? They just look at X for updates just like any one of us can? Lol

Editing numbers has been real frustrating… my starting QB has switched numbers in 3 of 4 seasons. Every season I feel like I have to learn numbers for players all over again (currently coaching at Notre Dame and they don’t have names on their jerseys making it even more interesting. Like I have to study my roster every year to figure out names-numbers).
if this is NIL related why we can’t edit numbers then they have already screwed the pooch on that one because I noticed early on when I still had real players their numbers were switching automatically each season. My example was Dylan Raiola going from #15 to #13 after the first season and he switched again on me his senior season going from #13 to #19. So his seasons were #15 (accurate freshman year), #13 sophomore and junior seasons, and #19 his Heisman winning senior season. Raiola wasn’t the only player, I had dbs rbs wrs etc switching numbers… no position was immune.
love the game but it’s frustrating.

@jack24hourbauer interesting. I haven't experienced jersey #s changing at this point.

@jokirleo Just catching up on this, I will check in with our studio partners and teammates this week.

I’ve noticed it happens when it automatically assigns the same number to a defensive player and offensive player which is perfectly fine and happens in real college football but it seems to happen then, and they just automatically change it when it should be ok if they have the same nimbler as long as one is offense and one is defense.
someone told me in another post it might happen iwhen you edit a players gear but I’ve had it happen without editing gear. Raiola being a prime example, I never edited his gear and he switched numbers.

This is how it works out:
Player A wears #1, and Player B also wears #1. If you edit Player A, Player B's number will change.
If there are 2 players with the same number - whenever you edit one of those players, the other players number will change. It's kind of annoying, but has been a decent workaround for players with weird numbers. Like if my QB is wearing #21, as long as there is another #21 on the team - if I edit that second player, the QBs number will randomly change to another number. If there's no other #21 on my team, then my QB is stuck with #21.
So what happened in your situation is another player had the same number as Raiola. At some point that other player with the same number was edited, so Raiola's number changed. If you had edited Raiola first, the other player would have had their number changed.

Is someone going to provide any kind of response to all the gamers asking about editing generated recruits? I want a refund if I can't do this. This is the only way many of us play this game mode.

Sadly I think its pretty clear at this point that EA will fix what they want to fix and no particular issues will be confirmed as being worked on.
