if they dont fix team builder today im getting a refund. we waited 10 years for the game we missed and they messed it all up. no one cares about online BS in NCAA football. that was never a thing that drew people in, it was the ability to create storylines and have full customization of the league.i play as 1 team and my wife and kid take their own and we play for the 'ship. i dont want to buy extra xboxs to be able to do what we did 10 years ago on 1 console. the money grab theyre doing here is outrageous. absolutely no integrity from this company. 0 management skill. 0 customer service skill. if they didnt hvae monopolies on rights theyd be out of business.
EA how about you actually finish something before releasing it? i dont sell people half a product then tell them ill fix it in incremenets over time. the programmers today are trash. imagine not having the ability to "update" your game and having to get things right the first time. you know, like it used to be just 10 years ago or so. the people that had to do everything WITHOUT AI ASSISTANCE.
EA is a bunch of losers. Disappointed with myself for falling for the bs again and thinking the game would be like it used to be.- JackDaddy162 years agoSeasoned Vanguard@Anobix This is quite obviously a low-effort/quick fix. As you can see in the game the coding and functions to edit player's names, ratings, jersey numbers, positions, etc is already there. It's just turned off. All they have to do is switch the user's ability to edit these. Why wait 2 or 3 weeks or 12 months to for this low-effort/quick fix that so many people are requesting?

It’s been a feature in past games, it’s so very clearly somewhere in the development of this game and all it takes is the option to turn it back on for offline players.
Of all the low effort requests that would send some goodwill their way, it feels like they aren’t even interested in listening. They have our money and all we can do is post here or on reddit, and tweet at a few people involved with the game.

In fact, I have yet to buy the game (I never pre-order and virtually never get anything on release day).
I'm waiting for official responses from any of the many requests we have here across these boards and reddit to be spoken to before I'll even touch my wallet. My point from before, from a development standpoint I bet they had some game-breaking issues that needed to be targeted before feature requests would be assigned to devs. But I have no idea the size of the team working on the game, nor how many are still working on it post-launch or were moved onto other projects (or left the company after shipping).
It doesn't excuse the lack of a feature we'd consider expected or basic (bf2042 launched without a scoreboard for Christ's sake), but just saying it may take time depending on the aforementioned reasons, if at all.
- Mareec32 years agoNew Ace@ca1f54b13d73d20f It is when people will go make the guys that opted out of the game. THAT's this issue.
- jfeev5082 years agoSeasoned Hotshot@Mareec3 There was supposed to be functionality put into the game to prevent this from happening. Simply code the game to recognize opted out player names as vulgarity so they won't be accepted. This is really just light work here.
I’m having the same issues!! This is super annoying.. does it matter that I’m using my iPad ?
This is so true! I said the same thing. What is the difference between the NIL with CFB25 with the NFLPA in Madden.

the devs at EA need to address this... we got scammed by being told there was going to be 1600 generic faces... come to find out its only for team builder.... RUINS THE GAME. Not being able to customize anything seems like the easy way out. IF ANYTHING, no reason we cant edit everything besides the names if NIL is an issue. On top of it, we have the same equipment options as we have had for the past multiple years in madden. besides pants above the knees, UA equipment, and rolled jerseys/hoodies we didnt get anything new.., I heard about ski masks, etc that aren't in the game. the old NCAA games outshined Madden by a landslide and the customization was one of the key features that brought it to another level. college players have way more freedom as far as what they can wear in game compared to the NFL. After 10 years of this game being gone you would think the creation would of shined. dynasty mode is ruined.
- jfeev5082 years agoSeasoned Hotshot@Ameen_HGA See you with me. There have been a lot of people accepting not being able to edit real players like there's a difference. You paid them, they agreed to the compensation I should be able to do whatever u want from there forward when I buy the product.
I'll tell you this, if they start getting any funny ideas and decide to do the same with Madden watch how fast that community will turn on them as well.
