Seems like there’s a bug with the head coach xp bar in dynasty. I’ve reached level 50, but I can’t move further. The total amount of XP points I need for 51 has been far exceeded, yet it still won’t upgrade. Just keep adding the points as I go along.
Is anyone else coming out with a better football game EA sucks, it's freaking lame
@SparkyCainLevel 50 capped me too. Makes no sense because there's no way u can unlock hardly any of the coaching trees. The testing team did a horrible job on Dynasty. I'm sure EA cut corners to make the game as cheap as possible even tho charging $70 to $100 for the game
LVL 50 is the cap, as intended. EA needs to adjust either the XP cap or XP progression. Its possible to get 25K+ xp at the end of the first season (normal progression). Just tested a Troy save and made it to lvl 20 after going 1-11 simulating a season. On my primary Villanova save (1 star program) I reach lvl 50 by the end of season 3. Far too early to unlock some of the better skill trees.
This is absolutely garbage and ridiculous.
Why have a cap at all?! Particularly in offline mode?
I'm baffled at what the reasoning is to have so many abilities and so little ability to unlock everything. I'm in my 40s level wise and I had no idea that I was so close to not being able to progress any further.
Similarly, it makes certain skills that make you gain XP faster utterly pointless. You're spending a very limited pool of skill points to arrive faster to where you can't earn anymore skill points?
Man, less than pointless, those skills are actively harmful. You waste very limited amount of skill points.
Level 50 is definitely the cap and it's way too soon... I agree that your growth should continue - even if it eventually caps out at level 99, etc... it needs to give you more potential to grow than level 50 and the development of at most half of any coaching characteristic. Why have top characteristics such as CEO and Team builder if you can't earn further points to contribute to those categories? I maxed out at 50 - not knowing that my coaching points would then stop accumulating and what served as the final version of my coach was all over the place, but not especially strong in any one area... total BS in my opinion.
I began a new offline dynasty where I am strictly accumulating the points and not spending them at all... not sure where I'm going with it yet, but I'll follow up if I figure out something interesting!
So it's it 10 points per level? So with the 5 you start with that would be max of 505 to spend over course of dynasty I think.

It fills the bar to 51 but never advances. I’m at like 90,000/10,000 for leveling up to 51.
So coach has a 30 year career and stops improving at year 10. Yet again EA doesn’t care about dynasty.
