So I’m in an online dynasty with 3 friends and the first week after the start of the second szn I went to edit a player and now he basically is corrupted. He has no name or stats and not only did I lose a valuable player but now I can’t even load into a game. In there a solution? Has anyone had this issue ? my only plan is to sim until we have to suggest transfers and get him off my team that way but then we all lose a year of our season. I’d love to just be able to play the game and edit my players. Any help would be appreciated!

Nope. There is no solution to this, and there won't be a solution to this. This is actually a core game problem with the in-game roster editor. The player is corrupted, and unfortunately, the game save is now corrupt, until all of the corrupted players graduate. The Dynasty will have to be re-started, and the Commissioner of the league needs to lock players out of editing. EA Sports released a 40% completed game that had ZERO game play testing before release. This problem is compounded by the fact that EA Sports had an additional year to further develop this game, on top of the ten years in between CFB14 & CFB25, and still released a 40% complete game.Sorry to say, but this will keep happening until fixed by EA (LOL, who am I joking? They will break it worse during the next title update), and the only thing that can be done is to restart the Dynasty without editing players ever again.

We have advanced to my first game and I’m unable to join the CPU game. Bounces me back out to the main screen when I attempt to start the game.

They’ve knew about this since July and still haven’t fixed it? That’s ridiculous

Add me to this list as well. After spending nearly 8 seasons at Bama I decided to revive USC. Recruited a stud running back in the transfer portal so naturally I wanted to change his number to 5. By week 0 my 12 year dynasty was unplayable.

Commissioner of a league with 26 users. Happened to my team in year 3. Reported this issue sometime early November and still no fix. Seeing this issue has been an issue for many others for about 3-4 months now i don’t anticipate a fix from EA. Im sure they are more concerned spending their time working on the next Saquon backwards hurdle clip. Dont really understand why this is a persisting issue with no resolution. I havent been able to play my online dynasty for over a month.

Same thing with me. But I lost two 5 star elite develop trait QBs lol. And they’re both corrupted.

4th year in Dynasty with 14 guys and now we have this corrupted player issue. QB with no name that crashes the game when trying to edit. Will not allow the user to play any games either. Hoping there is a fix for this soon as we spent hours in this dynasty just to get screwed by a glitch. Guys a freshmen so don’t feel like simming 4 years if encourage transfer does not work.

This happened to me. Was editing a guy when the week advanced. Now I have 2 players with the same name at cornerback. Commissioner can’t edit the schedules anymore.

I have to have the duped player subbed out of every lineup and it seems to fix the problem. Although in certain situations the player will sub in (if someone is tired or hurt). When that happens I have 10 players on the field for those plays.
I would imagine user v user games won’t work based on this forum, we’re still early in the season so time will tell.

My freshman safety duplicated to another senior safety that I got from the transfer portal last night. The league advanced when I was editing my freshman SS and after the flip my player was duplicated and corrupted.
