Not Acquiring Coach Upgrade Tokens in Dynasty Before Level 50
I have been searching for a fix for this since release, and have noticed a lot of confusion around this topic, which might be hindering its progress to get fixed. It’s also important to note that I’m playing on the Xbox Series X, as this might be a console specific bug.
First things first, you are supposed to stop receiving coach upgrade tokens after level 50. This is not a bug, it was intended by the devs for you to specialize your coach and rely on your coordinators to balance out your school. Respectfully, please stop posting this as bug, it’s a balancing mechanic.
However, the real bug is just as the title states, is that I have not been receiving 10 upgrade tokens every time my coach increases 1 level, before the level cap at 50. I have noticed this happens more often early on when you level up multiple times after a game. For example, I started a new Dynasty to pay more attention to this bug. I went from level 1 to level 5 after my first game, and I only received 20 upgrade tokens. I have seen/experienced an issue where you level up once, the xp screen says +10 tokens, and they are not represented in your bank of coins.
Now I’ve only heard through YouTube that you’re supposed to receive 10 coins every time you increase 1 level. I have not been able to find a breakdown of how many coins you’re supposed to receive per different levels, so this may also be intentional. However, I haven’t seen many other people address this on YouTube, and everyone says it’s 10 per level.
Why is this a massive issue that needs to be fixed as soon as possible? Because of the level cap at 50. You start at level 1 with 5 upgrade coins, and if you are supposed to get 10 per level, that leaves you with 495 total for your entire dynasty. While it’s important to rely on your coordinators, it’s also important to optimize your coach. Since that is the reasoning for having a level cap in the first place, it’s not fair to the player to not be receiving every upgrade possible. Please fix this EA! Dynasty is the reason I bought the game and I didn’t realize this was happening until 4 years into a Dynasty. I deleted the file and won’t be playing until it’s fixed.
