Re: Uncap Coach Skills

I played as Clemson so my coach started at level 42.  I capped out at level 50 in year 3, and it killed any desire I have to continue playing the game.  So I stopped at season 3 and will only continue once I get the level to uncap my coach.

This is a video game, not real life.  I should have the option to max out my character in offline mode.  What a massive disappointment.

    @tigercpa11This is I think a pretty key thing.

    Realism is fun...to a point. But we're also playing a fantasy. Boise State ain't winning three national titles in a row like I've done so far with my dynasty. They aren't going to win a single one with how College Football is currently setup.

    Which is one of the appeals of a game like this one. I can live my fantasy.

    Uncap college skills and if I want to live in a world where I can win 10 or 20 national titles in a row and retire as the greatest coach of any sport, anywhere, of all time then let me do me.

    You can't stop me from believing! (Well, technically you can by basically giving me no further progression system after an absurdly low number. But I'm asking you not to.)

    And I genuinely, seriously don't see who it harms by uncapping this for at the very least offline mode.

    As it stands now, I haven't played the mode anymore since I reached the cap. Is this the incentive that EA wants? No.

    Agreed!  In the 2014 College Football game, I played Dynasty Mode for 40 seasons, winning 40 titles and never once losing a game.  Everything rewarded me for continuing to be better and better, including getting all the top recruits, having essentially my entire roster in the 90s, etc.  If that is how I enjoy playing, why stop me?  I have never and will never play "online" with other people.  I play entirely by myself for my own enjoyment.

  • Have they even responded to any of this? We didnt all sit and watch the pre release videos that explained the cap! At least let us reallocate/reset our abilities at the expense of excess XP that we have no use for after level 50!!!!

    @darkhieser

    Nope not a word about this or so many other topics on these forums.  Don't. Expect any, soooooo typical for EA.

  • I agree with you! Madden don’t have a level cap and you can pick what skills you want to level up your assistant coaches! It’s very frustrating and take away from the game! This game don’t have a lot of freedom and customization! EA should have told everyone and not hide the information so they can make a lot of money off sells after it was released!

    @nocoolnamejim Bruh this wack aaa lvl 50 cap is lame. I agree with your "fantasy" statement. I don't understand EA's intentions in capping the progression at all. It shouldn't matter if I'm playing in my own offline dynasty.

    Bumping this thread. EA fix this. We have been asking for months. This shouldn’t be hard. Don’t make us wait until next years game for this…..
