Rivalries, Custom Conferences, Recruiting, and More
The Architect archetype in Coach Abilities is limited by rival games won. Not all teams have more than 1 rivalry and in some cases the rivalry is not in conference. There are at least 21 teams with no conference rivals. Some of these teams above have locked non-conference games with a rival. Other teams don't. I think it's reasonable that your coach can make a new rival in your conference.
There are severe limitations to how your roster improves in the offseason. Specific archetypes of positions don't develop well naturally despite being 4 and 5 star players.
The scheduling logic goes out the window when you customize your conferences. Rivalries are not protected. If you move any team to a new conference, there will be no home and away conference games balance. If you change the number of conference games played, there will always be at least 1 team who has less than the new amount of conference games. All I'm asking for is the ability to edit permanent rivalries in the conference rules and some sort of logic for balancing home and away conference games.
When the CPU misses an extra point on sim, an additional red zone appearance is included in the red zone percentage. It doesn't make sense.
There is many rivalries, both historical and new, not included in this game. Especially, old conference rivalries from the PAC-12, SWC, Big 8, and Big East. I find it odd that "rivalries" like UCF vs UConn and East Carolina vs North Carolina are in the game despite not being real life rivals. I understand there may be a limited storage space but it would be nice if all rivalries were included.
I noticed a flaw under the Independent conference rankings during the season. The Independent teams ranking system seems to be based on their conference record despite not being in a conference and at times it seems to be ordered alphabetically.
CPU recruiting is extremely bad for at least a 4 star team. Your recruiting classes are terrible despite having great My School grades and being in a recruiting hot bed state, like Texas.
I also find it crazy that your coach can't be hired by the team you've coached as an OC or DC when the HC leaves for another job. There was one time that I fit exactly what my team wanted in a HC but I wasn't offered despite my high level coaching abilities and great coach prestige. It is common in real life to look at current coaching staff when looking for a new HC. I don't understand why I wasn't offered.
In recruiting, I find it odd that 3 star or lower players have 9 or 10 teams interested in them immediately. I have ran across players who were not being recruited by their "interested" teams and I wasn't able to recruit them.
ACC teams schedule in conference teams as out of conference opponents. I feel like this should be an option added to conference rules.
When can we expect another update?
