I guess I just assumed EA had people doing this type of research on staff before the game was released. It seems simple enough to ensure the sim engine is tuned to reflect IRL. I mean "It's in the game" is the mantra. I feel like they beta tested gameplay, but neglected multi season Dynasty mode. I also feel like they have influencers and streamers testing and prodding the game, but no real lifelong dynasty players that actually care about the simulation realism. Back in the 2012,2013,2014 I received email a month before release and a code to beta the game. In return I pointed out flaws and improvement ideas. Those early versions were much further along and polished than 2025 is weeks after release. My only fear is that the process to really fix this isn't simple tuning, but hard coding and we'll have to wait for 2026 for a better game. I truly hope this isn't the case.
- 7 months ago@bmmnguy1 I think you're correct and that's a huge problem. There are a number of design issues I just don't like about this game. First I hate that doing teambuilder is the only way to have any control over editing players. On top of that you can only play online dynasty to use a teambuilder team and that it seems like the sim stats engine is essentially Madden's sim engine with worse rushing production.
