Too Many Portal Players?

Has anyone run in to an issue in CFB25 where the game crashes after trying to advance in the off-season? 

I manually entered as many players as I could in to the portal to keep each season realistic and I fear that I broke the engine with too many players in the portal. Have never had issues before but after finalizing every roster through “encourage transfer” and beginning portal recruiting I cannot advance.
