Top 10 Desired Changes for CFB 26 from Sim Dynasty players
I know there have been a lot of these videos going around on Youtube. I may be taking a moment to push my personal agenda, but all of these items are ones that have been talked about with the multiple online CFMs that I'm a part of, who play realistic (or "simulation-style") Dynasties. These are things we would really love to see added to the game, in no particular order.
- Coach Mode akin to NCAA 14
- Revamp how dealbreakers and transfers work to be less one-dimensional and more realistic
- Improve the CPU recruiting logic to be smarter and more competitive
- An option to turn off the arcade effects of stadium pulse (and keep only the hot/cold effects, which are more realistic)
- Add a player progression history tab
- Add a way to save and load custom conference configurations so I don't have to spend 30 minutes redoing it for every new dynasty
- Add offseason training options so we can choose how to focus train some of our players (but no minigames please)
- Enable players to gain or lose weight in the offseason, freshmen especially should be bulking up as they age up
- Fix Speed Rusher OLB (though this is imo a very serious bug for 3-3 and 3-4 defenses that should be patched in CFB 25)
- Significant improvements to defensive logic and AI. Match coverage, although it has improved somewhat with the patch earlier this year, is still not in a great spot and often gives up 1-play touchdowns (especially Palms and Cover 6, as the Slot defender will not react in time to certain plays, such as Trips Four Verticals). Man coverage and press are in a particularly bad spot this year and frequently give up one-play TDs. There are also significant outstanding bugs related to audibles and play flipping such as this one.
