This needs more support. Yall need to bump this post or any others like it so these people make this right. This is a monthly charge to us. for something that is in the game when your offline! surely even if you are an online player you can support why it should be unlocked for offline dynasty

Yea this is sooo dumb the only reason I can think to not put it in offline is pure spite for off line dynasty players

It's definitely greed, but I'm not entirely sure of the angle, since it's not EA's subscription service. I figure either they get some kickback from Sony/Microsoft for people signing up to their subscriptions or they figure everyone will buy the game this year and then again when they announce their "new" feature to be able to use Teambuilder in offline dynasties in a future year. It won't work on me - they will have lost all of my trust (and all future business from me) if they don't make it right this year. If we keep paying for this sketchy behavior every year, they'll have no reason to start acting ethically. And if it is some technical limitation (which is hard to believe since you can use Teambuilder offline for Play Now), they need to tell us, otherwise we'll have to assume it's entirely about screwing us for a little more money.

It’s the same reason why they only let you do was it up to 32 teams? It’s because if you did a completely full set of team builder teams you’d never buy another copy for two or three years and I’m one of those people that if I’m able to, reshape college football the way I want it. I wouldn’t buy a copy for a couple years until I fixed out all that bugs and issues that were wrong with this one.
- hkyplr1110 months agoNew Adventurer@darthcidious I honestly believe the 32 team limitation is because team builder was built for Madden (32 NFL teams) and they threw this in last minute to CFB25.
- hkyplr1110 months agoNew Adventurer@GKEnialb They get a % of the online fee. That plus the micro transactions are why so many games focus so much on that now.
I don’t want to play online. The servers are unreliable and it’s overall just a bad experience. Even if the game was free and you only had to pay the online membership, I still wouldn’t do it. I haven’t bought an EA sports game in close to 5 years because they’ve stopped focusing on the offline modes and the games are very much the same as they were 10 years ago. CFB25 was going to be the first one I purchased but because of all this BS I still haven’t purchased and won’t until team builder is available for offline dynasty. - GKEnialb10 months agoNew Vanguard
@hkyplr11 Thanks for that - now I understand why they're doing this nonsense. It's really disappointing. And completely with you on the online experience - I've tried it before and never will again (and will not be buying anything from EA, as the only way to get them to change their behavior is to stop making it worth their while...)
It's all about the $$$ or it would have been in the game in the first place. I'm not buying any more EA products in the future knowing I need to buy a subscription for the game.
It's really not a great game either. You're players rough the kicker multiple times a game and the computer just sits there without hiking the ball and takes a delay of game penalty. Better off playing 2014
