College Football 25 Causing PS5 To Overheat
Anytime I try to play an actual game, my PS5 start to give overheat warnings and then eventually shuts itself off. I can navigate menus and sim Dynasty mode with no issues, but once I go into a game...

I am having the same issue. I can barely play the game 20-30 minutes before it needs me to shut down for heat. I just bought the PS5 digital today, no other games installed.
Is there any word of a fix here? Not the usual turn it off an on, check for dust cut and paste stuff. Makes no sense why this one game causes a console to heat to this point.

I play on ps5( gametag: Darkodyssey42) for 4, 5 hour a day on different games. Like fc 24, cod mw3, hogwarts legacy, testdrive unlimited solar crown, black myth wukong, ect
I clean my ps5 reguraly from dust last time 2 weeks ago. With all other games i play with no problem. Now i bought FC 25 ultimate edition a €110. And coins with money. I haved played a full match with ultimate team. (Rush, squad battle, draft) with no warning my ps5 shut down after 10 to 15 minutes play. Every time i lose a game because of shutdown. I can't send a foto because of shutdown without warning. I also delete and reinstalled the game. I hope you can fix this asap.

I took mine apart, cleaned it. Bought a mini fan that hooks directly to it, still shuts down.
I bought a small 3 fan usb unit and it fixed the problem. I also cleaned my Ps5 multiple times but only this usb unit fixed it for me.
