Here is the order of events for me1 Preordered Standard Edition 7/4
2 Preordered Deluxe Edition 7/15 @10:43 AM MT
3 Refund request for Standard Editon, shortly after preorder of Deluxe Edition 7/15 @11:18 MT
Console is PS5
- @tyfitz33 Perhaps, I'm not familiar with their issue resolution process. I finally am in a queue to work with an actual person to resolve this. Going to ensure they remove Standard Edition from my library entirely and hope that resolves the issue. Clearly from the feedback we are a couple of MANY people experiencing this.

Hey Everyone,
Thanks so far for the information shared, and for bearing with us while we take a look at this!
If you are in the following situation, where you first pre-ordered the Standard Edition, then pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition, then requested a refund
- Please check your order history, or confirm with Sony support you have not refunded the Deluxe edition instead.
For other reports of this, or if you have confirmed the standard edition was refunded but you still have the deluxe edition we continue looking into this.

- EA_Illium7 months agoCommunity ManagerHi @mg6644, It's possible your first order is causing an issue with the game on your Sony account. Can we try refunding the Standard edition, reinstalling the deluxe version and seeing if you can launch the game?

We have passed this on to the games team to further investigate. - @poosweed please let me know how that goes. I have attempted to contact sony but nothing
- @tyfitz33 I'm away from my console at the moment, but they recommended entering Safe Mode and 'Clear Cache and Rebuild Database'. I am doubtful it would resolve, but will check later.
