Why can't I edit the Texas Longhorns fake players?

So for some reason, I am not able to edit any of the Texas fake players. I looked into other teams and you can edit them, but not Texas. I know you can't the NIL players but I want to edit a WR with the fake ones. This is used for Quick Play, not team builder or ultimate team or dynasty. Just someone please help me
