Accelerated Play clock improvement (2 modes)
🕒 Mode 1: Time-Freeze Acceleration
- Description: The game clock pauses during play selection.
- Once the play is chosen, time is fast-forwarded to simulate huddle duration.
- Game clock skips (40 - X) seconds, where X is the accelerated clock setting (e.g., 25 seconds).
- Play clock starts at X seconds once the offense lines up.
✅ Benefits:
- Eliminates accidental quarter-draining from indecision or distractions.
- Provides consistent, predictable time loss per play.
- Low-stress experience, perfect for casual or strategic players.
🕒 Mode 2: Real-Time Huddle Simulation
- Description: Both play clock and game clock run normally during play selection.
- If the player takes longer than the accelerated setting (X), no fast-forward occurs.
- If the play is chosen before the accelerated threshold is reached, game clock skips the remaining time: (40 - time spent choosing - X).
- Play clock begins at X seconds upon lining up.
✅ Benefits:
- Encourages realistic coaching and decision-making urgency.
- Mirrors real-life sideline strategy behavior.
- Prevents exploits while maintaining user accountability.
