Madden update is 10xs better than the college one last week! You guys broke some things (catch in traffic, wear n tear, player movement, overall H2H experience) give us a great update pleaseeeeee! This game took 30 steps backwards!
You probably don't secure catch. Complaints like this will confuse EA and they'll make it all cpu. I hate Madden simply because you throw a streak route and can't grab the receiver yourself and move towards the ball. Just chill and appreciate the game being back after a long 11 years. The game is great. I personally think constantly updating will get out of hand. You make the game once, learn to play and adjust. Tired of seeing these comments my receiver can't catch with nothing specific. What do you want to not have a defense on the field next.
Get on Madden throw a slot streak inside on a bullet or let the receiver get some ground, throw that pass and tell me once the ball is in the air you can't switch to receiver and move him and go gone get it. You can't. Leave CFB alone. Play the older versions on NCAA see the freedom you have with the receivers between Madden and NCAA.
It's not that the receiver can't catch, it's the receiver drops the ball if their back gets touched. Of course this is only on the player side, the computer players catch almost everything having their FCS QB go 22 of 24 against a top 10 defense. Gets old when the computer throws 70-80% of the time and barely ever has any drops or overthrows.
