Most Frustrating Version Ever

I am a 70 yr old computer professional that has played every version of this series and hundreds of other PC game software titles.  The logic in this version is totally unrealistic.  If the game decides you are going to lose there is nothing you can do to win. Human intelligence is overridden by CPU speed and a bias to the CPU.  In Dynasty mode my team (NC State) is 7-1 and I have played Georgia tech 15 times and the CPU will execute unrealistic passing or running to win.

I have had games against GT where I have scored a touch down after 7-10 plays at the start of a game and the CPU immediately throws a pass or allows a run for a GT touchdown and yet my defense is rated number one in the league according to the announcers.  I can score another to go ahead and the CPU will score a touchdown in a single play.

The CPU will slow down my defenders, speed up GT defenders with unrealistic speed, and slow down my defensive players just before a tackle or a pass block.  Switching control of a defender does not seem to work correctly.  It should select the closest defender but it does not and it still freezes any pursuer.

Skill settings still have no affect in Dynasty Mode.  I have not tried a single game.

If the logic in this game does not get fixed I am going back to the previous 25 version.  At least a human had a chance of winning an underdog game.

Very frustrating!

Me too. I'm in my mid-fifties and I am literally a Software Product Manager (not games), and I couldn't agree with you more!

Heaven forbid you (using your acquired skills) ,run up a decent record. Oh, no, we can't have that!!! Let's have a 20 point OVR underdog team STEAMROLL you! Yeah, great idea! Let's punish our users for being good at our game! They'll love us for that! (Spoiler alert, no they won't).

Not sure if it's by game, or by drive where this kicks in (or both, tbh, feels like both), but you get it basically every game once you've built up a decent record and/or gone up a few scores.

To me, there does seem to be some sort of secret threshold seems to be right around as you go up by that second touchdown. As soon as you go up by 14 points against an underdog, it's game on!!! The next hing you know you're the Bad News Bears and you're playing against the '85 Bears defense and  the 2013 Bronco's offense. You are flat out going to get steamrolled from here on out. Sorry, there is nothing that you, as a player of the game, can do to change that fact.

    So insanely frustrating!!!

    Fix this EA!!!!

EDIT: I think this may be an issue only with Human vs. CPU, and maybe only in single player offline dynasty mode.  My reason for thinking this is that it's so unplayebly bad, that if it were affecting online dynasty and other modes then no one would be able to play this game at all and there'd be torch and pitchfork crowds in the streets (so to speak).
