Please release CFB 27 on Steam so I can stop paying for Gamepass!

EA CFB25 and 26 had a good 2 years and the most important question that is not gameplay or content related is "when is CFB coming to Steam?" I am getting sick of paying for Gamepass when CFB26 is literally the only game I play on my Xbox because I got a PC 2 years ago and if Madden can be on Steam then so can College Football. The reason why is because there is a rise in PC players lately and I really hope the game drops on Steam soon so I can play it instead of paying for Gamepass just to play 1 game.

  • PC have no business cross playing consoles. Some people like consoles still and console is still a thing to people. Enough with the push from people play PC, steam, Keyboard and Mouse, end Xbox etc... it's annoying. I like playing Xbox. PC can cheat and can operate faster. It's not fair, seeing your QB hit the A button and there is some like slight pause u get sacked but the DT was def a few feet away. Or throw a pass and DB is behind the WR on a slant and DB just somehow magically appears in front of the ball with like a slight second pause. I don't even trust the game anymore that I am in fact playing someone PS5. That I turned cross play off.

  • And what's annoying is few months before CFB 27 drops, they will probably put CFB 26 on game pass. Meaning someone playing on PC, an iPad, steam, whatever will show up as Xbox player and it's just cheap af. They didnt buy the console download the app and get to play you with like a Mod system and cheat basically.

this is such a terrible take. Why couldnt it come out on PC and stay on PC servers? lmao such limited thinking with this one.

  • I see a lot of console huggers in these replies. PC has more active users than both Xbox and PlayStation as a whole (not speaking about player base of any particular game, just people who use those platforms to play games). It would be a loss to not release the game to PC, especially for those who play both PC and console and would even go as far as buy the game for each platform. Not even that, some dont wanna pay monthly for multiplayer, and when I can go buy a $200 office computer and a $300 graphics card (cheaper than the PS5 and Series S/X), PC ends up being way cheaper in the long run anyways. CFB27 needs a PC release both for increased playerbase to not cause isolation, but also increased revenue for EA (not a EA supporter but just a PC player that wants to not have to pay $20/month to play online). Yall are seriously brainwashed if you think it's okay to spend that much a month on online play. Used to be okay but not in today's economy.

Console players love paying over $250 to play online when PC is free for online with way more sales than Xbox and PlayStation stores combined.
