The purpose of selecting a pipeline?

I am still trying to understand the purpose of selecting a pipeline when creating a Coach/Coordinator if it only applies if you choose to go coach at the correct school. And in order to determine if you did that, you have to go online and search for what those are. I create my coach, pick East Texas as a pipeline, but then go to Iowa and that pipeline does not exist. So what was the point of picking one?

Also, can we have the ability to use Coordinator's pipelines? Those are listed when hiring a new one, but they have 0 impact unless you are at the right school.

    If EA ever gets to coding right, custom teams will completely replace the chosen team, location and all, in dynasties, no matter the stadium architecture chosen.

    Pipelines play a role in what coaching offers you’ll get, they should also play a role in what coordinators you hire 

    A great QoL change to make this easier to understand would if teams pipelines were shown when you select your school 

    secondary to that would be the addition of dynamic pipelines that evolve based on your coordinators and where the recruits on your team are from
